Booking & Payment: A 50% deposit is required to reserve your event date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of the event unless otherwise agreed upon.

Remaining Balance: Any remaining balance is due no later than the day of the event unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Payment must be completed by the end of the scheduled service.

Cancellation & Refunds: Deposits are non-refundable because your date and time are reserved specifically for your event. If you need to reschedule, please contact Silly Face Painting as soon as possible, and I will do my best to accommodate a new date based on availability. If your event needs to be postponed due to weather, your deposit can be transferred to another date, subject to availability, or applied toward a future event.

Delayed Start: Please have the service area ready by the scheduled start time. If the event is delayed due to circumstances on the client's side, the scheduled end time will remain the same. Additional time is not guaranteed and, if available, will be subject to the applicable extra-time fee.

Service Capacity: The number of guests that can be accommodated depends on the service, design complexity, and length of the booking. For larger groups, simplified designs may be used to ensure as many guests as possible are served within the reserved time. Providing an accurate estimated guest count when booking is required.

Guest Count: Silly Face Painting cannot guarantee that every guest will receive a service if attendance exceeds the guest count provided at booking or if there is insufficient time remaining. Additional time may be purchased if available.

Extra Time: Additional service time may be requested but is subject to availability. If available, extra time is billed at $50 per additional 30 minutes and must be paid at the time the additional service is provided.

End of Service & Line Closing: Services will end at the scheduled booking time. To ensure guests already waiting can be completed within the reserved time, Silly Face Painting may close the line before the scheduled end time. Guests arriving after the line has been closed may not be accommodated. Additional time may be requested and is subject to availability and the applicable extra-time fee.

Touch-Ups & Repaints: Once a face painting or balloon design has been completed, complimentary replacements or repaints are not guaranteed if the design is intentionally removed, damaged, popped, or otherwise altered. Touch-ups or replacements may be provided at the artist's discretion if time allows.

Travel: A travel fee applies to events located 30 minutes or more from Silly Face Painting's service area. Travel fees vary based on distance and travel time. Please provide the complete event address when booking. If a travel fee applies, you will be contacted with the additional amount before your booking is finalized.

Child & Guest Supervision: Parents, guardians, and/or the event host are responsible for supervising children and guests during the event. Children should not touch, grab, use, or play with face paints, brushes, balloons, equipment, or other professional supplies without permission.

Damage to Supplies & Equipment: The client is responsible for damage to professional supplies or equipment caused by guests or children due to misuse, intentional damage, or inadequate supervision. The client may be charged the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing damaged items.

Paint Staining & Property: Silly Face Painting uses professional cosmetic-grade face paints intended for use on the skin. While most face paint can be removed with mild soap and water, certain pigments may temporarily leave a slight tint on the skin. Face paint may also stain clothing, fabrics, furniture, or other surfaces. Reasonable care will be taken during application; however, Silly Face Painting is not responsible for stains or damage to clothing, personal belongings, furniture, or other property resulting from contact with face paint or other cosmetic products.

Face Painting Safety: Face painting may be refused if a child has an open wound, skin irritation, contagious condition, or other condition that could create a hygiene or safety concern. Silly Face Painting reserves the right to stop or refuse service if a child or guest cannot safely remain still enough to be painted.

Allergies & Sensitivities: Parents/guardians are responsible for informing Silly Face Painting of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or other relevant concerns before services are provided. Professional cosmetic-grade products intended for use on skin are used; however, individual sensitivities or reactions may still occur.

Balloon Safety: Balloons are made from natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions in individuals with latex sensitivities. Balloons, especially uninflated or broken pieces, may also pose a choking hazard. Children should be supervised while playing with balloons, and broken or deflated balloons should be discarded immediately. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether balloons are appropriate for their child.

Artist Cancellation: In the unlikely event that Silly Face Painting is unable to provide the scheduled services due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control, I will notify the client as soon as reasonably possible. When possible, I may make reasonable efforts to assist in finding a suitable replacement; however, a replacement cannot be guaranteed. If services cannot be provided and a replacement cannot be arranged, any payments made for the affected services will be refunded.Outdoor Events: For outdoor bookings, the client must provide adequate shelter from direct sunlight, rain, high winds, extreme heat, or other unsafe weather conditions. Silly Face Painting reserves the right to pause, relocate, or discontinue services if conditions are unsafe or could damage professional supplies or equipment.

Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service: Silly Face Painting reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if conditions become unsafe, threatening, abusive, or inappropriate, including unsafe behavior by guests, children, adults, or pets. Whenever reasonably possible, the client will be given an opportunity to resolve the situation before services are discontinued.

Changes to Terms: Silly Face Painting reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as needed. Any changes will apply to future bookings. The Terms & Conditions in effect at the time of booking will apply to your event.
